Today is a new day. I have been unable to work out the way I used to for weeks now due to my torn calf muscles (from an impropmtu night of step-aerobics at my house). In any case, I had lost 10 lbs but gained it all back due to inactivity and unmotivation since I could not work out. (I am an emotional eater, some days taking in 3,000 calories when I felt down.) :( But no more! I am now able to walk a bit. So I am doing that. I can also do ab work without really using my legs. So I am doing that as well! Also, I am trying Slimquick for the first time. It has curbed my appetite quite well so far and it is only the first day! It is nice to have some control over what I eat(especially now that I am not ablel to do as much at the moment.) Granted, I am not really about usind diet aids, but I literally cannot attempt my previous level of excersise for a while, so I must make up for the difference somehow. By the time I reach my goal (1-3 months?), I should be fully healed and can go back to just eating healthy and running/kickboxing/dancing again and can drop the diet aids. I was losing weight and well on my way without them until I got injured. :)In any case, I am super motivated and excited to have possibly found a way to not overdue my muscles with strenuous excersise, maintain a lower-impact fitness program, and still get to a healthy weight. On the box it says you can lose 25 lbs in 90 days...Dare me to do better? ;] I will try to post daily about my caloric intake and output as well as weekly weight-ins. :) I hope this will encourage others, or at the least others can learn from any mistakes I make, lol! I also plan to post other non-fitness related things as well on occasion. :)
Oh, and how sad is it that I am toootally sucking it in in these pics? Lol! Now don't get me wrong. I think I am beautiful. I love the body God gave me...but uh, I sure messed with it with all that junk food and couch marathos over the past four years, LOL. Y'all know what I am talkin about!!! S'all good though. S'all good. ;]
